How to crop an image
- Select or drop the image you want to crop.
- Drag the box or its corners, or type exact pixel sizes. Pick a shape like Square or 16:9 if you need one.

Questions
Which aspect ratio should I use?
Square (1:1) suits profile pictures and Instagram posts, 16:9 suits video thumbnails and slides, and 9:16 suits stories and phone wallpapers.
Does cropping reduce quality?
The pixels you keep are not resized. JPG and WebP images are saved again at high quality, and PNG images stay lossless.
Can I crop with the keyboard?
Yes. Focus the crop box and use the arrow keys to move it, or Shift and the arrow keys to resize it. You can also type exact sizes.
